Sri Lanka celebrates 67th Independence Day, Sri Lanka’s colorful moment of pride and dignity, recalls the freedom from colonizers, paying the tribute to the national heroes who dedicated their lives for independence of Ceylon. The Independence Day parade will take place at the Sri Jayewardenepura Parliament grounds today (04), under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena.
